We believe that a marketer can only think strategically and creatively if they have thorough knowledge of the customer’s mindset.

If they don’t, then it’s just informed guesswork.

For that reason, our large projects must always include a research phase that includes either 1) interviewing existing customers and/or prospects, or 2) a deep dive into web and email analytics.

We wrote about the benefits of interviewing customers in a couple of blog posts (here and here). Data, though less preferable, is an adequate substitute in most cases.

Our research-driven approach takes some extra time, but pays off when your marketing campaigns truly resonate with prospects and customers.

We prefer to charge on a project basis. That way, you know in advance what you will spend for a defined outcome.

Otherwise, our standard per diem is $1000, and we do hourly work for $125/hr. Rates decline with volume.
